In 1983, the Aguilar family decided to move to La Paz with the sole purpose of starting a business oriented towards tourist services.

Given that sport diving was Fernando's passion since 1965, it was natural for him to develop a successful diving operation starting with a 7-meter long boat and an old 40 horsepower outboard motor (Baja 1, still in operation after many outboards), and with the Cantamar Project in mind as the family goal.

After years of perseverance and planning, construction began in 1994, with a boat launch ramp, a small office building and the compressor room, which at the time gave rise to what is now Hotel Cantamar Beach Resort & Marina, the family dream come true.

Restaurant

The new restaurant by the sea, domains where Lucas and Juanita read your mind to prepare succulent dishes of land and sea while you enjoy a cold drink with a direct view of the marina.

Lunch time, soft music, air conditioning ... very nice!

The pool bar is a favorite for evening conversations, where the day's adventures are discussed and those who are fond of underwater video find the right gear to bask in the experiences over and over again. Television, DVD, video recorder and stereophonic music are at your disposal.

Deep enough for scuba instruction and with a direct view of the ocean and into the sunset, this place will make you wish the day would not end.

Marina

Strategically located to reduce navigation time to the best places for fishing, diving, snorkeling, kayaking and sailing, as well as any other marine activity that comes to mind, the 35 spaces at Marina Pichilingue accommodate boats up to 25 meters. of length, where the average of the fingers is of 12 meters. and they have fresh water and electricity available.
